I’m much less nervous around the black trim now
My car has quite a lot of piano black inside and I hate cleaning it because every little mark shows once the sun catches it. I’d already managed to put a couple of faint lines in it using a dry cloth, so I was being very cautious after that. This is what I use now for the loose dust. The bristles are soft and, more importantly for me, there’s no metal part near the screen or trim. I still don’t scrub at it or anything, just a light brush over, but it’s made cleaning that area far less stressful.

I’d had enough of cheap detailing sets
I’ve bought a few of those inexpensive sets over the years and they’ve all ended up in the bin. Either the brushes are too soft to shift anything or the bristles start coming out after a few uses.
